    Q1. What is abhieo? 

    abhieo(अभीियो) is a digital fintech (financial technology) platform fulfilling every financial aspiration in the simplest, shortest & speediest way through Mobilewallet,  Recharge, and Bill Payment solution.

     

    Q2. How to use abhieo? 

    Abhieo serves as a closed virtual wallet where you can store money online, it is the most reliable fintech platform for making payments or sending money to friends. If you are still unaware of how to use Abhieo, then you need not worry more. It is a quick and simple method, all you need to do is:

    • Login or Sign up at abhieo web/app

    • Add money to Abhieo Wallet using Debit/Credit/ATM Card or Net Banking

    • Pay using Abhieo Wallet

    The money added to your wallet can be used to make Mobile Recharge, DTH Recharge, Data Card Recharge, Fastag Recharge or Bill Payment of Electricity, Water, Gas, Insurance, Broadband, Landline.

     

    Q3. How do I Signup/Register?

    Step 1: First go to the Abhieo official website/app and then click on the “Register”.

    Step 2: In the next step, you need to provide your name, mobile number, email id, password, and security code and then click on the “Create Account” button.

     Step 3:  Shortly you will receive a confirmation along with Login id, Password & TPin (transaction pin) on registered email.

     

    Q4. How can I log in to Abhieo?

    You can log in to your Abhieo account on desktop, app, or m-site with your registered email and/or your registered mobile number along with a password. Ensure that you are logging in to the correct Abhieo site.

     

    Q5. How can I recover my Abhieo password / TPIN?

    Step1: Open the Abhieo mobile app/website and you'll see the log in/register screen.

    Step2: enter the registered email id or phone number and proceed to “Forgot?”.

    Step3: Please select “send code on my email address”  You will receive a “One Time Password” or OTP on your registered email id, you will receive OTP on registered email.

    Step4: Please enter OTP,  New Password,  renter new password and click on reset password, the password gets change

     

    Q6. What is KYC?

    KYC is an acronym for Know Your Customer. It is a mandatory process performed by platforms and businesses of all sizes, beforehand to identify their customer or client prior to beginning a business with them. This process is extremely crucial as it establishes a credibility and locates possible risks factors before any form of association. The free of cost procedure of verification and establishment of the identity is completed through relevant supporting documents like a photo ID (For Example: Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, etc.), address proof and lastly In-Person Verification (IPV).

     

    Q7. Who is eligible for KYC?

    As per our current process, all Indian citizens, Indian residents and Tax residents of India and of no other country who are above 18 years of age are eligible for KYC.

     

    Q8. Is the KYC process safe? What is the process?

    KYC process is completely safe and online. You can complete you KYC on abhieo app in less than 1 min, just verify your Aadhaar number with OTP from UIDAI and enter few profile details, that’s it! If you don’t have Aadhaar you can request for visit by our agent or visit any of our KYC centres.

    Step 3:  That’s It, your KYC is done

    Note: Abhieo have not appointed any person / firm to do customer KYC. It’s completely online without any other person help. Request you to do KYC yourself, Kindly do not share any personal information (such as Your Aadhar details, OTP, Account Id, Password ……etc) to anyone they may cheat/fraud you . If you share such details, in case of any loss you will be responsible only for this.

     

    Q9. What happens if I don’t complete KYC?

    It is optional. Without KYC it is still possible for you to use Abhieo platform having a transaction limit upto 999 only, once the limit has reached you will not be able to add money to your wallet or do recharge or bill payment. We would like to suggest you to do KYC (Option available in My Account)

     

    Q10. How do I know if my KYC is completed?

    If your KYC is complete, you will see a KYC icon on Home Page on the Blue Strip at the top. On tapping on this icon, you will be able to see details of your KYC

     

    Q11. Do I need to pay for KYC?

    Yes. You need have to pay a small amount Rs. 5 for every successful /Unsuccessful validation as a fee.

    Once you click on the KYC Tab for processing KYC the amount Rs. 5 gets auto debited from your account each time. In case of KYC successful verification, the amount Rs. 5 will be the fee for KYC, in case of unsuccessful verification (ex: - Do not want to submit the Aadhar details or Enter Incorrect details for process KYC verification/ Do not want to submit OTP received from UIDAI …. etc) the Rs. 5 will be also deducted which is non refundable

     

    Q12. Why are you taking fee to pay for KYC?

    Dear Sir/Mam, please understand Nothing Can be free. We have to pay certain amount of fee/charges on every successful/unsuccessful KYC detail validation to respective department/company/ authority. As we are bootstrapped based now, we do not have sufficient fund to pay this fee behalf of every customer right now.

     

    Q13. Are my documents and photos stored securely post KYC verification?

    As , KYC process is completely safe and online . We did not store you KYC document and photos(because it includes sensitive personal information) and are used for just a one-time verification of Aadhaar details with UIDAI.

     

    Q14. Can KYC be done for minors//foreign person /people less than 18 years in age?

    Currently we don’t have support for this.

     

    Q15. Can KYC be done on two mobile numbers? How do I update mobile number against an existing KYC account?

    Your KYC can be done against only one mobile number. In case you want to update mobile number against an existing KYC account, request you to raise your concern through email: wecare@abhieo.in

     

    Q16. What is Prepaid and Post-paid Recharge?

    A prepaid recharge is a payment you make to the telecom company for your mobile phone upfront unlike for postpaid plans in which you pay at the end of the month based on usage.

    Now that you know what prepaid recharge means, it will not be difficult for you to understand that prepaid plans are a great choice when you are looking to budget your spend. In case of a prepaid connection, after you have consumed the entire quantity of data that you have paid for, your services automatically get cut off and you don’t end up spending extra money.

    Postpaid mobile plans offer better value for money and often come with an option to have a mobile handset included in your monthly bill. Postpaid plans sometimes have lock-in contracts while prepaid plans are strictly no-committment plans. 

     

    Q17. How to recharge a mobile number?

    All you need to do is enter a mobile number, select the mobile operator and choose a plan to recharge your prepaid mobile number. You can follow the below steps to recharge a prepaid mobile:

    1. On Abhieo app/web, click Mobile Pre-paid/Post-paid.

    2. Enter your 10-digit prepaid mobile number (please do not enter the area code or country code) or choose a number from your phonebook.

    3. Enter the name of the mobile operator and the circle.

    4. Enter the amount for which you want to recharge. You may click View plans to go through the plans provided by the chosen mobile operator.

    5. Once the payment is made, the recharge will be processed instantly and you'll see the Recharge Successful message on your screen.

    Note:

    • Recharges usually take 10 seconds to 30 minutes for completion. However, in rare instances, recharges may also take 24 hours for completion. Please keep checking your order status/notifications periodically to know if your recharge was successful or not.

    • You can check the latest status of the recharge by visiting My Passbook section and clicking on the respective order.

    • Once the recharge is processed, you may choose to recharge another number or continue bill payment.

     

    Q18. Can I recharge for my friends and relatives too?

    Absolutely. You can recharge for your loved ones using the same account. You just need to know the mobile number to make a successful recharge.

    Q20. Payment is successful but order(recharge/bill payment) status shows ‘pending’ ?

    Recharges usually take 10 seconds to 20 minutes for completion. However, in rare instances, recharges may also take 24 hours for completion. Please keep checking your order status/notifications periodically to know if your recharge was successful or not.

    You can check the latest status of the recharge by the visiting My Passbook section and clicking on the respective order.

     

    Q21. My recharge failed but payment was successful, when will I receive a refund?

    • If the details you entered for your recharge plan are valid, the recharge will be successful. In cases of incorrect details or technical failure, the payment goes through but recharges fail at the mobile service provider’s end.

    Recharges done using Abhieo platform balance will be refunded instantly for such failed transactions in abhieo wallet.In case you did not received refund in  2 days, you are advised to raise a dispute/complain through app/website  and share details complaint through email : wecare@abhieo.in or WhatsApp +919711741237 , you will receive update in 3-7 working days

    Note :

    Some telecom operators may enforce a time interval ranging from a few seconds up to 15 minutes before any consecutive attempts of recharging the same mobile number. Please wait for 15 minutes between two consecutive recharge attempts for the same mobile number.

     

    Q22. What happens if I recharge a wrong number?

    A recharge order once placed cannot be cancelled/refunded. We recommend checking the number once before the recharge.

     

    Q23. My payment was successful and I got a message from Abhieo that my order was successful, but my recharge has not gone through.

    • If your recharge is successful, we will send you a confirmation email/sms.

    • You can also check the status of recharge in the My Passbook section.

    However, If the order was successful but recharge

     

    Q24. I changed my mobile network recently. When I enter my mobile number, old mobile network is displayed. Will my recharge be successful?

    • Please confirm your mobile service provider and circle combination before placing your order to avoid recharge failure.

    • To change the mobile service provider that is auto populated basis your mobile number, click on Edit and select the desired operator and telecom circle.

     

    Q25. Can I cancel a recharge?

    A recharge order once placed cannot be cancelled/refunded.

     

    Q26. Can I pay bill of my post-paid mobile number?

    Yes, you can pay bill of your post-paid mobile number. Go to the Mobile Postpaid page and follow the on-screen instructions to pay bill of your postpaid mobile number.

     

    Q27. How can I recharge a mobile number?

    You can recharge a mobile number on the Abhieo.in website, mobile site or mobile app. Just go to the Mobile Recharge page and follow the on-screen instructions.

     

    Q28.  Are there purchase limits for recharges?

    You can perform any number of transactions per day/month through our Website/APP/Mobile site.

     

    Q29. How can I recharge my FASTag account on Abhieo?

    To recharge your FASTag account, You need to do is :

    Step 1 : Tap on the Fastag Icon

    Step 2 : Select Fastag Operator   

    Step 3 : Enter Vehicle Registration Number

    Step 4 : Enter Your Mobile Number

    Step 5 : Enter Amount

    Step 6 : Pay using Wallet 

    Fastag Recharge Done in less than a minute

    Note:

    Currently, this feature is available only on the latest version of Abhieo app/Web devices.

     

    Q30. How do I check if the amount is added to my FASTag account after recharging it?

    FASTag recharges are done almost instantly. You can check your FASTag account balance on your FASTag issuing bank's website/app. Your FASTag issuing bank usually sends you a confirmation SMS/email on successful recharge of your account.

    In case your FASTag account has not be recharged after 2 working days, you are advised to raise a complaint to your FASTag issuing bank through the Raise a Complaint feature available for the applicable recharge transaction that is in issue. You can find the such transactions under Your Transactions tab on the Abhieo dashboard. Once your FASTag issuing bank resolves the complaint, the resolution/information provided will be visible under the relevant recharge transaction in Your Transactions tab.

     

    Q31. Are there purchase limits for FASTag recharges?

    Yes, there are purchase limits in place for FASTag. that are set by the issuing bank.

    In case multiple recharges are placed through the same Abhieo account / or multiple Abhieo accounts to abuse the system, Abhieo reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to cancel any recharge order without providing any prior notice to you.

    Note: The recharge may be cancelled/rejected by your FASTag issuing bank if the recharge amount is not within your FASTag account's KYC limits. In such scenarios the amount charged, if any, will be refunded to your Abhieo wallet. To check your FASTag account's KYC limits, contact your FASTag issuing bank.

    Q32. What payment methods can be used to recharge a FASTag account?

    You can use all payment currently availed on Abhieo to recharge your FASTag including - UPI, Debit Cards and Netbanking.

    Q33. Can I cancel my FASTag recharge? / I've recharged a wrong FASTag account. Can you cancel it?

    FASTag recharges once made by you cannot be cancelled on Abhieo. For further assistance, contact your FASTag issuing bank with the Bank Reference ID of your transaction for assistance. You can find your Bank Reference ID by tapping the relevant transaction in Your Transactions tab.

     

    Q34. My payment for recharge of FASTag account shows as "Pending" on Amazon.

    While in most instances, FASTag recharges happen instantly, your FASTag issuing bank may take up to 2 working days from the date of recharge on Abhieo, to confirm the receipt of payment.

    In case your FASTag account has not be recharged after 2 days, you are advised to raise a complaint to your FASTag issuing bank through the Raise a Complaint feature available for the applicable recharge transaction that is in issue. You can find the such transactions under Your Transactions tab on the Abhieo dashboard. Once your FASTag issuing bank resolves the complaint, the resolution/information provided will be visible under the relevant recharge transaction in Your Transactions tab.

     

    Q35. I've recharged my FASTag account, but I'm unable to cross the toll.

    Once the amount is added to your FASTag account, it may take up to 15 to 30 minutes* to reflect in Toll Plaza servers as they are updated every 15 to 30 minutes.

    If you're unable to cross the toll even after 30 minutes and has minimum balance in your FASTag account as per your vehicle, contact your FASTag issuing bank for assistance.

     

    Q36. I do not see my FASTag issuing bank in the list. Why?

    Currently, we support recharges for the FASTag accounts issued by the following banks:

    Q37. How do I recharge my FASTag CUG Wallet?

    Currently, we do not support this feature. However, you can recharge your individual FASTag account on Abhieo, if you have your vehicle number handy.
